Thank you for visiting our website! I feel very fortunate to be able to do a job I love in the community where I grew up and still live today. To perform such a complex, ever-changing and potentially dangerous job in a different county, where we were not generally appreciated and supported by its residents, would be much less satisfying and infinitely more challenging.

Many of the members of this association are also residents of the community they work in, making our connection to Santa Cruz County a personal one, not merely a professional one. Therefore, our association attempts to find ways to give back to our community whenever possible.
